South Africa’s Minister in the Department of Water Affairs, Buyelwa Sonjica, on Tuesday ruled out any increase in water tariffs in the near future, but indicated her department is massively under-funded.

Is our water going the same way as our Electricity ? South Africa desperately needs to spend money on our water infrastructure and the bottom line is that consumers and taxpayers are going to have foot the bill.
